Engaged & Intentional Psychotherapy

Helping you explore, accept, and embrace yourself as whole

You might find yourself at a turning point, unsure of what’s next but certain something has to shift. Maybe you feel stuck between what’s familiar and what’s calling you forward, or caught in the restlessness and anxiety of a mind that never quiets. Maybe you’re realizing that something in your life isn’t working anymore. It might show up in your work, your relationship, or just a quiet lonely sense that something just feels off. The world can certainly feel overwhelming and disorienting right now, and it makes sense if you’re questioning what really matters or who you are in the midst of it all. While this space of uncertainty can feel uncomfortable and scary…

it can be the very beginning of transformation.

I work with individuals, couples, and youth to better understand relational and emotional patterns, strengthen self-compassion, and reconnect with a sense of meaning and belonging. My work integrates evidence-based therapy with mindfulness and nature-based perspectives, while attending to the broader systems that shape our lives. This is a space to be fully seen, supported, and reminded of your wholeness.

  • "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."

    Carl Rogers

  • "The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance."

    Alan Watts

  • "One thing I’ve learned in the woods is that there is no such thing as random. Everything is steeped in meaning, colored by relationships, one thing with another."

    Robin Wall Kimmerer

  • "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."

    Rumi

  • "Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."

    Carl Jung

  • "You are loved just for being who you are, just for existing. You don’t have to do anything to earn it."

Meet Cassie

Cassie Duffy, AMFT, smiling outdoors in nature, Los Angeles therapist

It’s a big, heartbreaking, beautiful world out there, and I’m honored that your journey has led you here. I know it may have taken a lot to reach this point, as finding the right therapist is not always quick or easy. My name is Cassie, and I love helping people shift perspectives so they can recognize their strengths and feel connected to their truth and power. I believe we all carry an innate goodness within us, what in Buddhism is called our Buddha nature, that remains untouched by pain, shame, or the stories we’ve been told about who we are. This is how I see every person who walks into my office, and it’s my greatest honor to help you see yourself that way too.

I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor supervised by Gianna Maunu, LMFT #77757. I see clients in-person in the LA area and virtually throughout California. I’d love to hear what draws you to therapy and what kind of space you’re hoping to create together.
